About
25 kW Grid Tie System (with limiter, since there is no net metering in Nepal) is expected to save the owner NPR. 85 Lakhs in twenty years. The owner did not have to invest any additional capital to install this system. The complex already had a 20kW solar module installed to survive during load shedding. Saral Urja Nepal financed the Grid Tie System on a charge per generation basis (pure energy financing) for five years and per unit cost is 25% less than Nepal Electricity Authority for five years. After five years of contract with Sarala Urja, the system will be completely transferred to the owner. This is a WIN WIN situation for all. It is also helping our country’s cause of reducing electricity imports. Every drop contribute
